Announced at the 2015 Alumni Geography lecture which was held at the Wood Quay venue of Dublin City Council, this €5,000 scholarship, the latest addition to the Taught Masters alumni scholarships currently on offer, pays tribute to the contribution Prof John Sweeney has made to climate change. The John Sweeney Postgraduate Alumni Scholarship in Climate Change, sponsored by Bank of Ireland, will support a Maynooth graduate pursuing further education in the field of climate change.
