The Department of Mathematics and Statistics and Maynooth University Library are delighted to celebrate the MSC's 10th birthday in the new MSC venue, the Social Learning Room.
The President of Maynooth University, Professor Philip Nolan; the Librarian, Cathal McCauley; and the MSC Director, Dr Ciarán Mac an Bhaird will make brief addresses to attendees. Refreshments will be available.
We are asking that current and former MSC students and staff send us a paragraph which outlines your memories\thoughts\experiences of the MSC at Maynooth University, these will be on display throughout the evening. We ask that you email this paragraph to msc@mu.ie by Friday the 6th of October.

The Mathematics Support Centre (MSC) first opened its doors in September 2007. The MSC, established by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, has proven very popular with over 137,000 student visits to-date. Services are provided by award winning staff and are guided by evidence based research, they include drop-in and workshops for MU students, and free drop-in for second level students. The MSC has made a significant contribution to student retention and progression, and advises colleagues both nationally and internationally on MSC services.
