The Higher Diploma in Further Education is a professional teaching qualification in further education. It provides student teachers with the theoretical knowledge and the practical and reflective skills required to confidently work in further education settings. The course includes a 100 hours teaching practice part time over 2 years.
A primary degree (level 8) OR a level 7 degree and an appropriate additional qualification as per the Teaching Council regulations.
