The aim of this event is to provide a space for policy makers, programme directors and those who facilitate adult education to discuss and bring forward best practice for engaging with adult learners from diverse backgrounds. The event will be facilitated so that participants can hear the experiences of those who work with adults from diverse backgrounds and those who have contributed to establishing good practice in creating intercultural learning environments. The event hopes to stimulate discussion around the topics that are mentioned by the main contributors.

Speakers: Mary Maher (Director, Dublin Adult Learning Centre), Veronica Akinborewa & Philomena Obasi (Adult Education Facilitators)
Speakers will discuss their different experiences of interculturalism in different adult education environments.

A light lunch will be provided from 13:00.
