About

Camilla Kane is a MAP Student Advisor at Maynooth University. Her role in the Maynooth Access Programme is to support students who have enter Maynooth University from backgrounds with lower representation in Higher Education, ie. students from socio-economically disadvantaged areas, mature students, further education award holders, lone parents, refugees and protection applicants, care-experienced students, students with disabilities and Traveller and Roma students studying at the university. Camilla aims to provide students assigned to her with advice in any query relating to their academic, financial, personal or social engagement with Maynooth University.  

Before working in Maynooth University, Camilla worked in both DCU and TU Dublin as an Access Support Officer. She also bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from her days working in community and education contexts. Camilla delivered programmes to with young adults to develop skills and link individual in to services to reach their employment and education goals. Camilla is BA Fine Art Graduate and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Non Formal Education, Community Art and Education. In 2018, Camilla completed a post grad cert in Non profit Sector Leadership & Management in National College of Ireland.
